A wind rose is a graphical tool utilized by meteorologists to depict how wind speed and direction are distributed at a specific location. It will show the frequency of winds blowing from certain directions. The windrose above is of an area around the Savannah River. The wind seemed to come fro mthe northeast and the Southwest.
